Fellowship
We believe our fundamental mission is to encourage a deeper connection to God and one another in today’s scattered world. As such, in addition to worship services, we offer myriad ways to learn more about our faith, get to better know one another, and forge enriching connections with both.
EVENTS
Our community loves a reason to gather outside of worship, so we regularly host opportunities to do so. Whether it’s at one of our two annual fundraisers, our monthly Grill + Chill on the front lawn, a concert or walking with us in the Fourth of July parade, we know you’ll find meaningful connection here and have fun doing it!
SMALL GROUPS
A number of small groups meet monthly throughout the program year. Some are formed around certain affinities or commonalities, while others may be more general, but the common goal is for people to get to know one another better as they discuss their lives and spiritual life. Please reach out to Rev. Winnie to learn more or join.
Aging in the Spirit
Bible Study
Bible Study will explore various themes depending on the season.
Young Adults
20s and 30s for members of the parish living in the space between recent college graduates and those with young families.
Dads' Group
Dads’ Group is for fathers of all ages, though conversations may more often deal with issues of parenting younger children still living at home.
Moms' Group
Moms’ Group is for moms of all ages, though as with the Dads’ Group, conversations may gravitate more towards parenting younger children.
Security & Military
National Security/Military Affiliation is for those who have served or currently serve in defense-related fields.
General/ No Affinity
General/no affinity groups will allow people from various demographics and experiences within the parish to get to know one another. A great way to meet new people!
ADULT FORUMS
Please join us in the conference room at 10 a.m. for a led discussion on a wide variety of topics, featuring clergy, lay or guest speakers. Subjects range from faith exploration and spiritual growth to a deeper dive into one of our outreach ministries. See the calendar for more details.
COMMUNITY FELLOWSHIP GROUPS
In addition to those gatherings organized and led by Christ Church, these groups – comprised of parishioners and other Capitol Hill neighbors – offer opportunities to engage with others around shared interests. See the calendar for more details.

Brew Crew
Have you always wanted to brew your own beer? Or are you already a brewmaster? Join us! The Brew Crew meets every six weeks to brew and bottle together in the church kitchen. They experiment with making different kinds of beer, and often provide beer for church fellowship events.
